At our libraries – June 2024

Sketching Saturdays

There is a Sketch Club on the second Saturday of every month at Caterham Valley Library. It is free, and open to all levels of ability and experience. Although it is focused towards adults, older children are welcome. You will need to bring your own materials to draw with.

The next event is on Saturday, 8 June, from 14:00 to 16:00.

Come and craft in Caterham

Adult crafternoon sessions take place on the last Thursday of each month at Caterham Hill and Caterham Valley libraries. Bring your craft of choice and meet new crafting friends.

The next session is on Thursday, 27 June, from 14:00 to 16:00.

Clay Workshop

Lingfield Art Society is offering a two-session childrens’ clay workshop on Saturday, 29 June and Saturday, 6 July at Oxted Library. Participants (Year 3 and older) must be able to attend both workshops, and a parent or suitable adult must stay with the child throughout. To book a place (at a cost of £5), sign up at the helpdesk in the library, or email oxted.library@surreycc.gov.uk.

Go Citizen

Surrey Library members can now access the Go Citizen online resource for free. It contains the study guide and practice tests to help prepare for the Life in the UK citizenship test, and can be accessed from home or via library computers. Visit surrey.gocitizen.co.uk/students/new and enter your Surrey Library card number.
