The Westway Centre takes its Next Steps

By the trustees of the Westway Centre

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in our application for lottery funding for our Next Steps project. This discrete project is primarily designed to help us secure sustainable sources of income in the medium to long term. We would like to thank the National Lottery Community Fund and all players of the National Lottery for awarding us this fund. We are pleased to have appointed a charity manager to work with us on the Westway Next Steps Project. Abi Chapman joined us on a part-time basis on 1 March 2024.

Thanks also to the Friendship Project, the Tandridge Community Fund, Rotary, The King & Queen Caterham on the Hill, Churches Together, individual donors, and all our volunteers for their continued support.

Our staff and volunteers at the centre are dedicated to running a well-varied programme to support our local community. We always have lots going on, and are constantly reviewing our activities to suit needs.

As well as day to day activities and one-off events why not try jive or pilates on a Friday afternoon? Come along to art, cooking, exercise, music or gardening activities? Or join us for our regular Sunday Lunches (upcoming on 14 April and 19 May) and Sunday BBQs from June. We also offer a meal on wheels service for those who need it. Please take a look at our latest programme.

If you are looking for a venue for hire, or are a local business and want to place an advert in our programme, please get in touch.

We are always looking for new volunteers and also really need new trustees to join our small team. Please contact us and get involved ????!
