A Lingfield business has been nominated for an Animal Star Award, only weeks after opening in the village.
Only Dogs Ltd, which was founded by Beky Francis and Michelle Bell, has been put forward in the Pet Groomer of the Year category.
The national Animal Star Awards were founded in 2016, with the aim of recognising the ‘extraordinary things’ that animals and humans do for each other.
Michelle says it is completely overwhelming to have been nominated:
“For such a young business to have been shown such support speaks volumes as to the spirit of the community we have become part of. We have received fantastic support from the village and those surrounding us. That’s all the thanks we need, but to even be considered worthy of such an award really is incredible. We cannot thank our customers enough for their support.”
The winners of the Animal Star Awards will be announced at a special awards night, which is being held in Portsmouth on Sunday, 26 May.
